Mine eye has seen the gory of the oozing of the goop.

But thankfully it's mostly just really red now. I saw the doc and got drops for the eye and a shot of penicillin in the rump for suspected strep.

Two things - 1. Why is it called "Pinkeye" when it is so very red? 2. People won't look directly into the eye. They fear it's power.

More importantly, Brandon is umping Pony baseball. They best thing is the all-polyester outfit. And the posing.

  1. CHRIST IN A SIDECAR! All that polyester scared me. And the eye looked gross too.

Is it bad that I laughed out loud at my own comment?

  2. ZOWEE! Hope you're feeling better.

Funny, Major Ump made that same pose before crashing into our shrubbery.

  4. if he starts skipping on one leg toward the teams dugout with a hand held waaaay up in the air and then dropping the hand and stomping the airborne leg at the same time like a big ol hammer and bellowing OOOWWWWWWt sorta like a stuck basset hound....he's getting close.

    Steee-RrIIIKe!

the first rule in umping....make em all sound really cool, and entertain the parents. And show some ass when dusting that home plate off!

    BuuuuhhhhhAAWWWWWLLL, one!~

really emphasise the buh, with a quick snap of the ONE! then longer on the TWooooo, and hang the third out there like a spanish soccer announcer, maybe even until the next kid comes up to bat.

    Classic.
