Hmmm

I just went to my "Now Playing" list in TiVo. I selected Saturday Night Live. I had to fast forward to 1:15 am before the show started. This was after the 11 o'clock news, which had started at 12:45. The news hadn't started until 12:45 because it was pushed back by NASCAR. That's right, NASCAR. Does this happen other places?

I saw the same NASCAR race. It didn't strike me as an important event, not that any of them are. Maybe they held it just because somebody figured out how to turn the lights on.

I read that whole first comment and you know what? It wasn't a joke, what a waste of eye strain. As for the NASCAR thing it's usually on TNT and not interrupting my precious network programs.

  4. Yes, you westerners don't have to suffer the preemptive NASCAR and it's wiley ways. Be thankful.
